ABOUT LIZ JONES

I'm a Teaching Fellow and Systems Manager in Geomatics in the Department of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering, University College London, and Departmental Adviser to Women Students. I teach Surveying, GIS and Terrestrial Laser Scanning, and have a general interest in pedagogy and HE. My background was in the Humanities (hi-five to all you Humanidudes out there!) but I find that a fascination with how people transform their environments is the bridge between my interests in landscape archaeology and my love of civil engineering. I have a soft spot for dams, and the Crossrail project leaves me awestruck.
